It is not only adults but also children are suffering with obesity in recent days. The main reasons for this are improper food habit. You must begin to follow the right food habits that can help you keep your body weight at the correct level and make you look young.
Children about 8 years of age are more prone to become obese, because at this age they spend more time for their education due to which they spend no or very less time to play. This will reduce their physical effort, whereas in addition to this, they begin to eat more junk and oily foods that will increase the chances of putting weight resulting in obesity.
Therefore proper food habit must be followed by taking more green and fresh vegetables, fruits, pulses and greens.
It is obvious that all kids love to eat junk foods that are oily and spicy. Most of the junk foods are full of fat and cholesterol content which when consumed daily by kids, that would lead them with obesity at young age.
However, it is parent’s duty to monitor their child to eat healthy foods and snacks.
To help you with some tips for taking healthy snacks:
1. Fresh vegetable salads and soups
2. Fresh fruit desserts with honey
3. Dry fruits like dates, nuts
4. Fruit Squash made of varieties of fruits and more
Talking about balanced meals, food groups and healthy eating not something kids are too keen on. It just isn’t fun. ‘Nutrition and Healthy Eating’ app changes all that. Using the character of a girl named Bo, the app takes the kids on a journey of exploration they will love.
The app always has the nutrition related education in its core and this ensures a kid pick absorbs most of the information. There is a separate section of parent where they can monitor the progress.
The animation, colors, sounds and easy drag drop make it a fun app for pre-school and early school kids.
The app has a separate area for parents where they can register, create profile for kids and monitor their progress. All links to open other such app are also tucked in this section. We saw ad pop-ups but only on in parent section. These are wonderful ways to keep kids away from accidental clicks and focused on the app.
